'Home Again' (Part 3) story by Joe Harris

Following Mulder’s trail to the Peacock family homestead, Scully encounters Assistant Director Ana Morales and an FBI SWAT team, who are also in pursuit of the rogue X-Files agent. Learning that the house is home to a family of wanted murderers, Morales orders her men to break down the door – unaware that the Peacocks have decided to make a final stand, and have just set the place on fire. Meanwhile, Scully is reunited with Mulder, and learns how Gibson Praise sent him to retrieve the communications from the crashed military satellite, which he is using to communicate with whatever the orbiter came into contact out in space. Mulder believes that now he has what he wanted Gibson has stopped talking – but when Scully pulls a gun on him, Mulder realises that he isn’t the only person that Gibson is manipulating…
