'Home Again' (Part 1) story by Joe Harris

In Washington D.C., Scully meets with Deputy Director Skinner to voice her concerns over the Cantus Group’s growing influence over the FBI, and her suspicions that Gibson Praise is planning to close one of the more gruesome X-Files cases she and Mulder once investigated. Meanwhile, Mulder finds himself drawn to Garden Country, Nebraska, where he is intrigued by a lone farm holding out against an encroaching oil fracking operation. Here he meets a pretty young woman tending to her cows, and learns that the girl’s family are old acquaintances with some disturbing plans for him…
