'SOS' (Part Two) by Rob Hoegee |
The deep space exploratory vessel Calypso has crashed harmlessly into the ocean - but amongst the wreckage is robot pilot Braman, still sending out its distress call; the message is intercepted by the Hood, who sets out with the Chaos Crew to investigate… When Braman’s regular message turns to a cry of help, Gordon heads off in Thunderbird 4 on a rescue mission; he tracks the signal to the Marianas Trench, and discovers that the Chaos Cruiser is in the area too. While Kayo mobilises Thunderbird Shadow and the forces of the GDF to deal with the Hood, Gordon sneaks Thunderbird 4 into the wreckage and retrieves Braman; but the sub is detected by the Hood and the Chaos Crew, who use missiles to bring down a huge section of rock onto the escaping Thunderbird. Having captured Braman, the Hood and his team depart – leaving a badly-injured Gordon buried alive inside the critically-damaged Thunderbird 4. The forces of International Rescue mobilise to save their fallen brother – but are they already too late...?
