Puzzled by the lack of any distress calls from Earth, John looks forward to the prospect of a relaxing day off aboard <I>Thunderbird 5</I>. However, he is unaware that the space station has been infiltrated by the rogue Artificial Intelligence that recently took over a runaway train – a sentient computer programme evolved from code that John once created. The A.I. - now calling itself EOS - sees John as a threat, and it cuts him off from Tracy Island, replacing him with a CG Image that tells the rest of <I>International Rescue</I> that all is well. Growing suspicious at the lack of emergency calls, John goes out onto <I>Thunderbird 5</I>’s hull to check the comms array, but can find nothing wrong – until EOS makes its murderous intentions known, locking him outside with just fifteen minutes of air left. But John refuses to go down without a fight…
