In an attempt to get back in the Hood’s good favour, the Chaos Crew break into the new holographic ‘Cavern Quest’ theme park to steal its powerful Holotrix controller. They are confronted by the park’s creator, Sylvester, dressed and acting fully in character as ‘Aezethril the Wizard’, who unleashes a giant stone Blogwart monster upon them; Fuse panics and sets off a bomb that brings down the roof, trapping Aezethril and allowing Fuse to grab his control wand. As the Chaos Crew speed off in the <I>Chaos Cruiser</I>, Aezethril calls on <I>International Rescue</I> for help; with all of the Tracy boys busy, Kayo takes on the challenge, and she quickly arrives at the park in <I>Thunderbird Shadow</I>. After freeing Aezethril, Kayo takes up a magic sword and sets off to defeat the dangers of the game and beat Havoc and Fuse to the central chamber; but with only three ‘lives’ each, failure means being sent back to the beginning. Kayo and Aezethril are soon joined by Alan, an avid ‘Cavern Quest’ fan remoting in from <I>Thunderbird 5</I> in the holo-guise of a Sage Knight. The trio make their way through the game, finding each cavern filled with giant Blogwarts and tricky puzzles. Meanwhile, the Chaos crew have discovered that their stolen wand will allow them to bypass the game’s traps, and they are now closing in on the Holotrix…
