16th October 1968: Sam leaps into the body of housewife Margaret Sanders, just as she burns her bra at a women’s liberation rally. The demonstration quickly breaks up when the police arrive on campus, but Sam and Margaret’s daughter, Suzi, are arrested and locked up in a cell back at the police station. After Sam saves the rally’s organiser, Diana St. Cloud, from a beating by Police Chief Donald Tipton, Margaret's husband George arrives, furious at the humiliation his wife has caused him, and at having to curtail his dinner party so that he can bail them out. Back at the Sanders house, Sam becomes frustrated at George’s old-fashioned attitude to “his little sweetie-pie”, and the two of them argue. Al advises Sam that his actions back at the police station have changed history: but whilst Diana has been saved, Margaret and George’s marriage is now doomed to break up…
