The Mighty Boosh Cast

Someone is copying Vince, stealing his look and taking his place on the cover of ‘Cheekbone Magazine’; the culprit, Lance Dior, even tries to steal Howard – but luckily for Vince, his friend decides to turn down the offer. However, Lance just gets his own ‘accessory’, Harold Boom, and together they form ‘The Flighty Zeus’. Learning that the imposters have stolen their gig at ‘The Velvet Onion’ nightclub, Howard and Vince blame each other; Naboo tries to calm them with his story of ‘The Magpie and the Peacock’ (a tale of friendship, betrayal and suicide), but that fails to work, so the Boosh pay a visit to the club’s manager, Bob Fossil, and with a bit of blackmailing they secure a supporting slot on the bill. Returning to the ‘Nabootique’, Vince and Howard practice their ‘Future Sailors’ routine, but are interrupted by the arrival of Lance and Harold, who advise that retro is back in. Thrown off-form, Vince and Howard appear at ‘The Velvet Onion’ as medieval minstrels; they are quickly booed off-stage – and replaced by ‘The Flighty Zeus’ dressed as future sailors, who go down a storm. Furious, Vince and Howard plan to perform their ‘crimping’ routine at their next gig; but the following night at ‘The Velvet Onion’, the Boosh are shocked to discover that Lance and Harold have stolen crimping from them too…
