'Voo Doo Knight' by Tim Kring and Deborah Dean Davis

Responding to a silent alarm at Towers Gem Stones, Michael and K.I.T.T. interrupt a robbery in which the owner, Jeremy Towers, has just helped two crooks obtain the contents of his safe - before jumping out of a window to his death on the street far below. Michael and K.I.T.T.’s investigations lead them to con artist Bonita Vance, who, posing as Voodoo Princess Harana, is using special ear clips that turn their wearers into her zombie slaves in order to steal priceless archaeological finds. Michael attempts to put an end to Vance’s scheme – only to fall under the spell of one of her ear clips...
