When the chivalrous Michael comes to the rescue of Adrianne Margeaux, a beautiful damsel in distress, he falls foul to a plot to steal K.I.T.T. Adrianne’s associate, whiz kid Randy Merritt overrides K.I.T.T.'s programming and steals the car, leaving the computer itself behind; the two villains then set off in the Trans Am to use its powerful laser to commit an art robbery. After Michael and Devon recover what’s left of K.I.T.T., April places the A.I. in a portable television / radio unit; reunited with his pal, Michael set off in a Studebaker to apprehend the villains and restore K.I.T.T. to his former glory…
