Circuit Breaker

Osgood attempts to debrief the Fugitive Doctor, but the grumpy Time Lord refuses to cooperate. The Doctor's next mission is to return a Sontaran battle mace and handcuffs to their correct point in time and space, and she begrudgingly allows Andrew to accompany her. The TARDIS takes them to Sepolcro, Calabria in Italy, 1994, where a local village is under siege from a gang of hooded figures. The assailants - known as the Honourable Society of San Sepolcro - kidnap the mayor's daughter, threatening her life unless the mayor resigns. Deciding to help, the Doctor forces a captive gang member to lead her, Andrew, the mayor and a party of townsfolk to the Society’s sanctuary in an decrepit old church, arriving just in time to stop the Society’s leader, Don Patata, from sacrificing the major’s daughter to their god, San Sepolcro. Revealed as a Sontaran warrior, Patata is knocked out by Andrew with a blow to his probic vent. The mayor and his friends see off the Society gangsters, but before they can arrest Don Patata for kidnap and extortion, the Sontaran teleports away. Leaving the artefacts behind, the Doctor and Andrew depart in the TARDIS - unaware that the hooded figure who was posing as San Sepolcro is watching their every move…
