After Adam tells Peter that the Shanti Virus was created by the Company, they both set off for Searsmont, Maine, to track down to the scientist responsible, Victoria Pratt, and obtain the location of ‘Virus 183’… Bob informs the Bennet family that he had Noah cremated; meanwhile, in a Company holding cell, the late Mr Bennet is resurrected by a transfusion of his daughter’s restorative blood… Niki returns to New Orleans and gives Micah some good and bad news… Searching through Yamgato Industries’ records for information on Kensai, Hiro and Ando learn their quarry is now known as Adam Monroe; Hiro travels back to Primatech’s New York office in 1977, and discovers that Adam tried to release the virus in a misguided attempt to end war and save the world… Alejandro discovers that Sylar is a murderer… Damon takes Micah’s backpack, only to have it stolen by a local gang; Monica offers to help Micah retrieve the bag, but in the attempt she is captured by armed hoods… Sylar shows Maya how to control her powers, driving a wedge between her and Alejandro that has tragic consequences… Finding that Claire’s blood can cure the virus, Mohinder sets off to save Nicky’s life, but en route he receives a threatening phone call from Sylar… After casting her father’s ‘ashes’ into the sea, Claire decides to go public with her powers in a bid to expose the Company… Peter and Adam arrive at Primatech – just as Hiro teleports in and attempts to kill Adam…
