Following ‘Future Hiro’s’ instructions to “save the cheerleader”, Peter makes contact with Isaac and discover’s the artist’s prophetic paintings; when Isaac explains that a lack of heroin prevents him from finishing a painting of Claire, Peter takes over the artist’s powers and completes the picture himself… Claire’s adopted father kidnaps Nathan for examination, but the politician manages to escape by soaring up into the sky. Dumped out of their abductors’ van, Hiro and Ando find themselves at a roadside diner; arguing over their recent gambling fiasco, the two friends fall out and part company – then Hiro sees Nathan landing outside, and realises he has found another ‘hero’… Matt revitalises his failing marriage by using his telepathy to second guess his wife’s wishes, giving her a romantic day to remember; but when he later heads for a local store for ice-cream, he finds himself confronting an armed robber… Mohinder bids farewell to Eden and returns to India to scatter his father’s ashes... Nikki wakes to learn that she spent the night in Nathan’s bed – and that their liaison was taped by Mr Linderman for blackmail collateral. However, Nikki manages to warn Nathan, who turns the situation to his advantage by securing $4 million from Linderman to pay for his campaign… When Claire tells her adopted father about Brody’s rape attempt, Mr Bennet pays the boy a chilling bedside visit… The police warn Nikki that her fugitive husband, D. L., has escaped from prison and may be on his way home…
