Sandra learns that Claire has been hiding Alex at home; but instead of turning the boy in to the authorities, she offers to help… At Building 26, Danko’s list of targets continues to grow; acting against Nathan’s wishes, he orders his men to shoot to kill… Attempting to locate Daphne, Matt is frustrated that all he can paint are visions of himself and the destruction of Washington D.C. … Gabriel’s quest to find his father leads him to a disused burger bar, where he begins experiencing flashbacks: he relives the moment when, as a child, he witnessed his father murder his mother, before abandoning him… With the help of the mysterious ‘Rebel’, Matt and Peter break into Building 26, sharing Matt’s power to hold off Danko’s men; although unable to locate Daphne, they do manage to find some incriminating evidence to use against Nathan. When Matt is captured, Peter tries to make an exchange with Nathan, only to be shot by Danko… Matt finds himself an unwitting pawn in Danko’s ruthless campaign against the superpowers…
