Thompson attempts to use Candice’s shape-changing ability to elicit Claire’s whereabouts from Mr Bennet… At the Corinthian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nathan learns that Mr Linderman also has a power. Linderman’s art collection includes works by Isaac, including the depiction of the destruction of New York; however, Linderman sees this catastrophe as a catalyst for hope, explaining that in the ashes, mankind will be brought together – with Nathan as their leader… Mr Bennet taps into the telepathy of his fellow prisoner, Matt Parkman, and instructs him to break out of his cell and free Ted; the nuclear man creates an electro-magnetic pulse that disables the facility’s systems, allowing the trio to make their escape… As Peter’s skull is cut open by Sylar, his healing power kicks in; the two specials battle, Sylar uses telekinesis to sends a shard of glass flying into Peter’s skull, killing him instantly. Mohinder manages to knock Sylar unconscious, destroying his research before fleeing with Peter’s body… At the Petrelli household, Claire learns that her grandmother has made plans for her to be sent to Paris… Isaac meets a fan of ‘9th Wonders!’, and decides to give him his sketchbook… Aware that Jessica has taken over Nikki, D.L. leaves his wife… Mr Linderman asks Jessica for access to Micah, hoping to use the boy’s power to repair his plan; when Jessica refuses, Linderman turns to Candice’s skills to get what he wants… Mohinder take’s Peter’s corpse to the Petrelli house; Mrs Petrelli and Nathan are devastated, but this soon turns to amazement when Claire removes the jagged shard and Peter returns to life… To protect the specials, Mr Bennet, Matt and Ted decide to destroy the Company’s tracking system in New York… Mohinder tries to contact Mr Bennet for help against Sylar, but ends up making a deal with Thompson… Following a clue at Mohinder’s, Sylar tracks down Isaac; after he tortures and kills the artist, he then begins painting the future… Claire talks to Nathan, her real father… Five years in the future, Hiro and Ando have arrived in the ruins of New York; realising that they have failed in their mission, they decide to look for Isaac – but instead encounter a future version of Hiro…
