'A Collection of Goodies (Special Tax Edition)' by Tim Brooke-Taylor, Bill Oddie and Graeme Garden |
Tim is busy checking The Goodies’ claims on a Tax Evasion Form, querying some of the more dubious entries. When he challenges ‘oats’, Graeme's computer replays the trio’s efforts to keep fit in a gym, using equipment that includes a particularly mobile vaulting horse. Tim’s frugal purchase of an out of season Christmas pudding leads to a game of football, then the Goodies take to the streets for various other ball games, until the pudding is worn down enough for Bill to eat it in one gulp. Back in the Goodies’ HQ, Bill attributes his claim of ladies’ undies to their stint as ‘Pan’s Grannies’, whilst a claim of nappies helps the lads recall their Baby Service. When Graham points out that the only way to make their tax rebate claim is to actually earn money in the first place, he, Tim and Bill put on a street show in the West End. Unfortunately, their antics earn them nothing – mainly because they have been entertaining the queue outside the labour exchange. Defeated, the Goodies go inside too…
