For their 63rd wedding anniversary, Lurr and Ndnd decide to renew their vows on their home planet of Omicron Persei 8, and they hire the Planet Express gang to run the catering. Oddly, Fry seems strangely different: more helpful, energetic, happy, and with an entirely different face... Twenty-Three years ago, when Fry took a holiday to recover from snu-snu injuries sustained on planet Amazonia, the Professor and Hermes hired a temp to cover: Frank, a broken nobody who came to love the delivery work he was given. But while on a mission for the New York Public Library, dumping waterlogged books on a trash planet, the Planet Express team accidentally left Frank behind... and when Fry returned, they forgot all about the temp. Twenty-Three years later, while prepping for the wedding, the gang suddenly recall Frank, and they stop off at the trash planet to rescue him. But after Frank has cleaned himself up, he uses book-learnt hypnotism to alter the crew's minds - they leave the real Fry behind on the trash planet, unaware that Frank has taken his place...
