PROVEN TO PROMOTE BRAIN GROWTH IN INANIMATE OBJECTS
The Planet Express gang throws Fry a surprise birthday party with all his friends. However, instead of being happy, Fry becomes depressed, reminded of his 8th birthday, when all his friends accused him of cheating at his celebratory games. The Planet Express ship is mysteriously pulled off course, and crash lands on a remote planet. As Fry stumbles out of the ship, he dribbles on the ground, which causes the world to conjure up a recreation of his family home on that fateful birthday. The party-goers are greeted by three masked, squid-like creatures, who subject them to re-enactments of Fry's party games - but with a diabolical and deadly difference. Barrel of Monkeys ends when half the team fall into a vat of alkaline; blowing out candles burns Zoidberg to death; musical chairs leads to a giant weasel attack; a pinata takes its revenge; a vocabulary book crushes Kif; and a treasure hunt sees the death of Leela. Soon only Fry, Bender and a random old lady are left to play the final game of Pin the Tail on the robot Donkey - but who will survive?
