YOUR TV FRIEND

When the Planet Express team's children sell non-fungible tokens of cool-but-stupid pictures they have drawn, Bender sees a way to get rich quick. 'The Bender Collection' sells out immediately when all of Bender's images are bought by the Museum of Modern Art, and displayed in its Hall of NFTs. Suffering an identity crisis at losing ownership of his own image, Bender heads to Mexico to rediscover himself in the home of his robo-ancestors. Here Bender meets his cousin, Doblando, who takes him to a rusty old village in the jungle to meet his long-lost grandmother, Abuelatron, and the rest of her family. Meanwhile, the Planet Express team decide to help their friend by staging a Museum Heist to retrieve Bender's NFT - completely failing to comprehend the kids' explanations about backups in the blockchain. The Professor's plan involves switching CCTV feeds with a nice model he has made - but then tiny aliens invade the model to steal the tiny NFTs, alerting the authorities to the thieves. Back in the jungle, Bender takes part in the annual Hoop Day Contest, which involves shoving heavy rocks through a metal hoop, and anything else that gets in their way. After winning the contest, Bender learns that his prize is to meet the villagers' ancient ancestors - by being sacrificed to them...
