THE ROBOT IS REALLY JUST A MAN IN A SUIT

Bender receives a broadcast from a numbers station, which freaks him out because of his phobia of all numbers except 0 and 1. When the same numbers come up in that night’s lottery, Amy suspects they have a deeper meaning - and after seeing Fry’s terrible attempts at paint-by-numbers, she realises the sequence holds an encoded design for a mysterious device. Amy builds the machine, which creates a portal to a theoretical world of numbers. While Bender defenestrates himself from fear, the Planet Express gang cross the Numberland Gap; learning that the integers never age, the decrepit Professor Farnsworth decides to stay in their realm. All goes well until his radical ideas about maths angers the integers, who decide to divide him by zero. Cast into a prison, the Professor meets the originator of the numbers message, mathematician Georg Cantor; Farnsworth uses Cantor’s equipment to contact Bender - but can the robot get over his irrational fear of numbers and rescue them?
