After surviving another Xmas attack from Robot Santa, the Planet Express gang look forward to New Year. As this is the anniversary of when he first met Leela, Fry plans an extravagant surprise party for his beloved; unfortunately, the event is overshadowed when Leela discovers that Fry forgot to water her plant. Distraught that Leela now apparently hates him, Fry turns to an illegal ‘Magic Mirror’ app to confirm they are soul mates; but while the mirror shows that Leela is Fry’s soul mate, it also reveals that he is not hers. Learning that the man for Leela is Branch Woodsman, the Chief Arborist of Central Park, Fry sets out to confront him…
