After delivering a gravity pump to the Coney Island Community College, the Planet Express crew enjoy the rigged games at the amusement park. Visting the Hotdog Museum, they learn that Fry was once a hotdog-eating athlete, but retired after suffering a humiliating defeat from his nemesis, Brocky J. When Fry is disappointed to learn that with cows now extinct, hotdogs are made from plants, the Professor offers to bring cows back to life through cloning, and so the gang sets off to Brazil to find traces of cow blood inside mosquitos trapped in amber. The plan almost succeeds, but instead of cows, the Professor just makes a giant swarm of mosquitos. The next idea is to use the Museum’s prize item: the half-eaten hotdog that Brocky J choked to death on. This time the cloning process works, and a herd of cows is soon created; but when Fry sees the horrific way hotdogs are made, he sets the cows free - and they promptly get killed by traffic. The Professor finally turns to lab-grown beef instead, and successfully manufactures tiny hotdogs; these are so good that Planet Express changes its business model to ‘Planters Express’, producing ‘Farn Dogs’ that prove popular enough for Fry to bring back the Hotdog Eating Contest so that he can finally win. But one night the hotdog machine suffers a DNA contamination and creates a hotdog version of Brocky J - who decides to compete against Fry in the competition…
