'Attack of the Clothes' by Ariel Ladensohn |
ENOUGH TO SHARE WITH THE WHOLE CLASS
For the Academy of Inventors' Annual Competition, the Professor turns the Planet Express HQ into the world's most powerful sewing machine to recycle old human parts into a new, environmentally-friendly human. After a visit to the Museum of Heads, the gang chooses Cara Delevigne's head to go on the creature's body. The operation works, but the professor still loses the competition to his nemesis, Doctor Ogden Wernstrom. However, the dress the Professor made for Cara using moth-based technology is a big success, so he decides to drop science to become a fashion designer. His clothes are a hit, and soon everyone wants outfits from the 'House of Professor Farnsbert'. After Zoidberg bemoans that his designs can only be bought by the weather, the Professor decides to use science to bring his creations to the masses; he creates a cheaper version of his clothes that only last for one day, and soon everyone is looking fabulous. Wondering what happens to the clothes that get thrown into the Professor's special wormhole bins, the gang head into the disposal system to find out; they discover a planet completely swamped in discarded clothing, its inhabitants wiped out by shirts and pants - and that planet is the Earth!
