Now restored to her real body, Buffy is working for Kennedy as a member of her professional body-guarding business. After spectacularly failing to save her client in a training scenario, Buffy is approached by the demon Eldre Koh of the Nitobe, who is waiting for her in the company canteen, and then gets a stern talking-down by her new boss. To clear her mind, Buffy goes out on patrol, only to discover that the police are now trained in the art of staking zompires thanks to Detective Dowling’s new initiative.
