After dealing with a nest of vampire children, Faith returns to her apartment in Cleveland where she is surprised to find Giles. He offers her the chance to be pardoned of her previous misdemeanours, in exchange for carrying out a difficult mission for him: it seems that a Slayer is misusing her powers, and could eventually bring about the end of the world. The only problem is that the Slayer in question is Lady Genevieve Savidge, one of the wealthiest and most-protected heiresses in England – and a spoilt brat who is protected by a very powerful warlock named Roden. Faith reluctantly agrees to go undercover as a fellow lady of breeding, and so Giles begins training his very own ‘Eliza Doolittle’. Meanwhile, in Scotland, Buffy tells Xander of a strange dream she just had, in which a demon prophesied the death of a queen…
