'Wolves at the Gate' (Part 3) by Drew Goddard

Discovering Aiko’s corpse strung up in the middle of Tokyo, a shocked Buffy takes her friend’s body to rest in her ancestral home. Pushed on by Willow and the tactless Dracula, Buffy decides to go on the offensive against Toru and his vampires; using Renee as bait, she and the gang capture one of the undead creatures and learn from it that Toru has holed up in the Ashikaga Building downtown; having connected the Scythe to a giant lens, Toru plans to use the incantations of a witch, Kumiko, to reverse the weapon’s powers, so that he can strip all the Slayers of their abilities, turning them human again. Mobilising every Slayer she can, and with the aid of ‘Godzilla’ Dawn, Buffy mounts an attack on the Japanese vampires’ headquarters – however, Toru is one step ahead of the game, and things go badly wrong…
