Part 12: 'One Girl in All the World' by Christos Gage

Buffy and Spike destroy the power-draining machine, but Joanna has already absorbed enough of the Shenlong Dragon’s energy to easily deal with their attack, and badly burns both vampire and Slayer. Willow guides the dragon to the Land’s End facility, allowing the monster to reclaim its stolen energy – by eating Jenny. As the dragon departs peacefully, the weary Scooby gang goes home… Days later, as Buffy and her friends recover from their injuries, the U.S. president announces a review of all policies regarding the supernatural, under the supervision of Riley and Samantha Finn. Buffy receives a visit from the former guards of the internment camp, who ask for the return of their powers; to their surprise Buffy agrees, on the condition that they answer to her for any misuse. Enjoying their well-deserved downtime, the Scooby gang enjoys a barbeque on the apartment roof…
