Part 10: 'Crimes Against Nature' by Christos Gage

Buffy, Willow, Spike and Faith take an underwater route to break into the government base beneath the Cliff House at Land’s End, San Francisco. After dealing with a cybernetic octopus sentry, they discover a horrific menagerie of technology-enhanced creatures, all imbued with magic stolen from the supernatural prisoners of the government’s internment camp. While Willow hacks into the computer system, Buffy, Spike and Fred fight off a cyborg soldier, then release the experimental animals to cover their tracks. Regrouping with Xander and Dawn, the Scooby gang hatches a plan to capture the Vice President and use magic to elicit the truth behind the ‘Pandora Project’. While Xander poses as the VP - and gives a rather entertaining television interview - the others learn from the kidnapped official that the government is planning to launch a satellite with a wide-range magic-absorption array that will drain every supernatural being in the US. Leaving the Vice President with a memory-wipe, Buffy and the gang return to their motel hideout. Realising they have nowhere left to run, the Scoobies resolve to end the government’s evil project, or go down fighting…
