When riots break out at each of the concerts given by futuristic rock group Andromeda, Buck decides to investigate. He soon learns that the band's manager, Lars Mangros, has been using an ion transmitter to secretly encode the group's music with subliminal behaviour-altering sounds, which incite anyone who hears them into committing acts of extreme violence. Learning that Andromeda is to give a galactic-wide broadcast from the space station Musicworld, Buck convinces the band not to play; he then sets off to infiltrate the station and find a way to prevent Mangros from causing chaos throughout the galaxy…
