While undergoing testing at O.S.I. headquarters, Jaime is amazed to discover the secret existence of Maximillian, the world's first bionic dog, who was implanted with cybernetics six years previously. However, Max has now begun acting erratically, and, believing that the dog’s bionics are beginning to break down, the O.S.I. scientists have decided to put him down and conduct an autopsy to determine what went wrong. Jamie instantly feels that she shares a bond with Max, because she holds a fear that her bionic implants may break down too; she decides to save the animal from being put to sleep, no matter what it takes…
