'Valley of Darkness' Story Code: '202' by David Weddle and Bradley Thompson

Now that they have rejoined the fleet, the crew of the Galactica begins to relax; however, they are unaware that a Cylon raiding party has managed to board the ship via the hangar bay. The Centurions deactivate the Galactica’s main and auxiliary power systems using a computer virus, and then begin systematically slaughtering all crewmembers they encounter. When Apollo and his Raptor squad return to the ship they immediately run straight into the attacking Centurions, and forced to flee for their lives. After they are saved by a group of marines, Apollo takes command and heads for the brig to free deposed-President Roslin; having detailed a marine to accompany Roslin and her aides to Sickbay, which was designed as a survival shelter, Apollo then orders the rest of the soldiers to accompany him on a search for weapons, which they will then use to deal with the Cylon raiding party. Meanwhile, on Caprica, Helo and Starbuck decide to take ‘The Arrow of Apollo’ and leave the ruined city; however, before they go they make one last stop: Starbuck’s old home. Back on the Galactica, Lieutenant Gaeta’s team have managed to purge the ship’s systems of the virus, restoring the Battlestar to full power; however, Gaeta and Colonel Tigh then realise the Cylons’ mission: they plan to vent the Galactica crew into space and then turn the ship’s firepower on the Colonial fleet…
