President Roslin is still troubled after hearing Leoben Conroy’s warning that Commander Adama is a Cylon agent, and she hints to Adama that he be the first to take the Cylon-test using Doctor Baltar’s equipment. When Adama responds by suggesting that she be the first to undertake screening, they are forced to flip a coin to decide: and Adama loses. Elsewhere, on the observation deck of the Galactica, Roslin’s aide, Billy, joins Dualla for their first date. A Cylon raiding party appears near the fleet, but instead of attacking, the ships behave erratically; while the Vipers deal with the threat, Colonel Tigh is concerned to hear that Adama is no longer on the Galactica; his worry soon turns to stunned surprise when the Commander promptly returns in a Raptor – along with Tigh’s lost wife, Ellen. Over a joyful reunion it emerges that Ellen had been declared missing after the Cylons’ attack on Caprica, but then mysteriously reappeared on the civilian ship Rising Star a week ago. The President asks Baltar for a report on Adama’s test results, only to learn that the Commander cancelled his test and instead requested that Ellen be checked. That evening, Adama hosts a dinner party for Tigh, Ellen, Apollo and the President; however, the evening soon turns into a debacle when both Tigh and Ellen get drunk - Ellen begins making rude and inappropriate comments, and then heavily flirts with Apollo. After Tigh and his wife leave for their quarters, Apollo notes that if Ellen is not a Cylon agent, then they are all in a lot of trouble…
