'The Passage' Story Code: '310' by Jane Espenson

When some newly processed bad food contaminates the fleet’s provisions, the Colonial survivors are forced to ration what little stocks they have while the Raptors are sent out in a desperate search for supplies. Athena manages to locate a world rich with harvestable algae, but the planet lies within a star cluster heavy with radiation. Admiral Adama and Major Apollo formulate a risky plan to use the Raptors to fly ahead and relay jump co-ordinates back to the Galactica and the rest of the fleet; by making a series of such jumps, they hope to pass safely through the cluster. Meanwhile, aboard the Cylon baseship, Baltar confronts D'Anna over her constant suicides; D'Anna explains that she is attempting to learn the identities of the final five Cylon replicants, glimpsed just prior to the moment of each of her resurrections. Kat has an encounter with a man from her past, while Colonel Tigh returns to his post on the bridge of the Galactica, and receives a round of applause from the crew. The Raptor teams begin their task of navigating through the star cluster – but the radiation proves too much, and soon takes its toll on the pilots…
