'Angel': 'Dark Reflections' (Part 1) by Corrinna Bechko |
Unable to transport four people through time, Illyria jettisons Angelus and Darla and then materialises herself and Angel on a beach a few days after they left. After a fruitless consultation with Angel’s aunts via the scrying glass, Illyria decides to abandon their mission to change history; but when she attempts to return them to the present, Angel instead thinks of home, transporting them to Dublin, when his earlier self was still mortal. Here Angel tries to prevent Darla from killing an innocent man, but is stopped by Fred, who now shares Illyria’s concerns over altering the past. Angel refuses to listen and storms off – and then comes face to face with his father…
