War of the Worlds Cast

"I had no idea it was going to end in such tragedy."

Having received intelligence reports that the aliens are attempting to steal sophisticated equipment from the Applied Science laboratories, Colonel Ironhorse and his team lay a trap. Seeing three suspects fleeing from the building, Ironhorse is left with no recourse but to open fire; however, to his horror he learns that only two of his targets were aliens: the third was merely an innocent human hostage. While a shocked Ironhorse looks numbly down at the lifeless body of young Sarah Cole, the third alien escapes in a van. Once the creature returns to the Triumvirate, the three leaders order their operatives to steal large quantities of money in order to buy equipment needed to build weapons for their soldiers. Over the next few days, Ironhorse is wracked with guilt, and the nightmares he experiences force him to visit a psychiatrist. After attending Sarah’s funeral, the Colonel begins to doubt his ability to perform his duties in the war, and distances himself from the rest of the Blackwood team; but he is unaware that he is now under surveillance by Sarah’s widower, Martin, who has vowed vengeance on the man responsible for his wife’s murder…
