War of the Worlds Cast

"I have nothing really against humans, but as a group, they stink. I say kill them all."

As the Blackwood Team prepare to attend a top secret meeting with General Wilson at the United Nations, to discuss progress in the war against the aliens, Harrison receives an invitation to meet the reclusive artist known as Quinn. Harrison happily accepts, and it is not long before he is collected by the artist in his limousine and taken to his secret workshop. Here Quinn shows his guest his revolutionary works of art, created using highly complex holograms and lasers; Quinn then offers one of his works as a gift to Harrison, as well as a bracelet that matches one he himself wears. After an overwhelmed Harrison gratefully accepts Quinn’s presents, the artist shocks him with the revelation that he is in fact the commander of the original alien invasion force that attacked Earth back in 1953. Somehow, Quinn was immune to the bacteria that killed his comrades; stranded on Earth, he has been forced to live amongst humanity for the last thirty-five years, trapped in a human host body that he can no longer leave. Controlling Harrison via the bracelet, Quinn instructs his prisoner to take his demands to the U.N.: unless the authorities agree to cull mankind’s numbers and give him control over the survivors, Quinn will allow the imminent invasion of Earth by his comrades to go ahead. Meanwhile, the alien Triumvirate learn of Quinn’s presence on Earth; realising that he holds the key to their survival on Earth, they order his immediate capture for experimentation…
