"Did you see that Parkins boy's body in the tunnel?"

"Just the photos. Worst thing I've ever seen. Kid had no face. What kind of monster would do that?"

Learning that the highly advanced microbiotics laboratory at Ohio Polytechnic Institute is developing a toxin known as ‘White Fever’, the three alien Advocates order a team of warriors to steal a quantity of the deadly poison. Disguised as students, the warriors infiltrate the network of tunnels under the campus and head for the lab, only to run into a team of students engaged in a game of ‘Aliens and Asteroids’ – a fantasy sport played with ‘laser-tag’ toy guns. One of the students, Robert Parkins, is killed, his face ripped off by the attacking alien, which then escapes with its comrades into the tunnels. When Suzanne learns of the death of her former lab assistant, she and Harrison immediately leave to investigate; however, when they arrive, they find themselves in the middle of a police cover up, as the authorities attempt to suppress details of the project Parkins was working on at the faculty. Meanwhile, one of the aliens breaks into the biolab and steals three phials of White Fever; in the process, one of the phials accidentally breaks, infecting the alien and causing it to mutate. Now believing itself to be playing ‘Aliens and Asteroids’ for real, the unstable creature forces its terrified human team-mates into the tunnels to continue the game – bringing with it the remaining two phials of the lethal bio-weapon…
