War of the Worlds Cast

"Can you tell me how what happened last night happened?"

Under cover of darkness, unscrupulous archaeologist Mark Newport breaks into the Westeskewin Indian Reservation’s burial ground, and, with the aid of an old map, digs up an ancient tribal headdress. Discovering that the artefact has supernatural properties, Newport decides to auction it off for upwards of one million dollars; the news coverage is seen by the alien Triumvirate, who recognise the crystal set into the crown of the headdress as the starter for one of their warships. The staff at the Blackwood Project also see the report: Ironhorse is outraged over Newport’s act of grave robbing, but Harrison, Suzanne and Norton are more interested in their computer’s assertion that the triangular crystal is of alien origin. The Westeskewin shaman, Joseph Lonetree, tries to warn Newport that unless he returns the headdress he will die; however, the archaeologist refuses to listen, and has the Native American arrested for harassment. While Ironhorse posts Lonetree’s bail and returns the old man to the reservation, Harrison and Suzanne pay Newport a visit – only to find that the aliens have killed the archaeologist and taken the crystal. Using the starter, the invaders determine the location of their ancient scout vessel, and then set out to secure the powerful War Machine…
