'Treasure Down Below' by Dennis Spooner

The Stingray crew enjoys a spell of shore leave in Casablanca. Phones buys an old treasure map from a dodgy merchant, but when Troy sees it he refuses to go gallivanting on a treasure hunt; however, Marina secretly alters Stingray's course, and it is not long before the vessel becomes trapped inside a huge whirlpool. The crew comes face-to-face with two underwater pirates who have spent the last three-hundred years living off the cargoes of the many ships that have fallen victim to the whirlpool…
