Ian and Randi

While Ian and Randi recover from a night ‘experimenting’ in the basement, Julian mopes about missing out on celebrating Hallowe’en. Going to school, Julian meets Lisa Parfrey, daughter of a local minister who has just made newspaper headlines for rousting a coven of devil-worshippers from ‘All Saints’ church the night before. Learning of Julian’s knowledge of the occult, Lisa’s interest is piqued, as she is being stalked by the hideous apparition of a ‘devil clown’; worse is to come, as when she goes home through the church cemetery, she is menaced by the ghastly attendees of a ghostly funeral service. The next day, Lisa tells Julian of her experiences, and together they investigate the church crypt; while exploring the darkened corridors they are attacked by the juggler, but are saved by the timely arrival of Randi, worried by an earlier phone call from Julian. When Randi informs Ian of her encounter with the juggler, he identifies it as a demon spirit conjured up specifically to kill children – it seems that the leader of the satanic coven is out for revenge against the Reverend Parfrey…
