While Marty is put in charge of a wayward ghost named Nesbit, Jeff is asked by his ex-fiancée, Freya Cargill, to re-open investigations into the death of her father, a renowned archaeologist. When Jeff and Jeannie head for the museum where Professor Cargil worked, they encounter the eccentric Professors Doleman and McKern, and find a display of ‘bog-people’ – the bodies of a man, woman and child, who have been preserved in a peat bog for two thousand years.
