'The Mutation' by David Chantler and George Eckstein

While lost and delirious in the Mexican desert, David Vincent sights a downed alien saucer; eventually finding his way back to civilisation he contacts Air Force Intelligence, but they fail to discover any evidence to support his claims. Unable to recall the exact location of the U.F.O., Vincent becomes determined to search for the craft himself; and is later saved from being run down by two youths in a hotrod by newspaperman Mark Evans. When Evans reveals that a local stripper named Vikki claims to know the location of the flying saucer, Vincent enlists girl’s help and the two of them head into the desert in a jeep. But unknown to Vincent, the invaders are waiting for his arrival…
