'The Experiment' by Anthony Spinner

Famed astrophysicist Doctor Curtis Lindstrom has discovered proof of the presence of aliens from outer space, but this knowledge has already led to an attempt on his life. Lindstrom now plans to expose the alien invaders at a forthcoming international conference of scientists, and has taken refuge at a hospital together with his old friend, psychiatrist Paul Meuller. Learning of Lindstrom’s campaign, David Vincent arrives and manages to prevent another assassination attempt; but when he then urges Lindstrom to seek shelter elsewhere, the Doctor’s son Lloyd strongly objects. Is it possible that the aliens are using a form of mind-control to get close to Doctor Lindstrom..?
