The Goodies

Police Commissioner Butcher and his Sergeant burst into the Goodies’ office and rough them up – and then ask the trio for help in improving the force’s image. With no option but to agree, Tim, Graeme and a yob-dressed Bill go out for a walk to see why the police are so unpopular, only to get the full experience of the force’s nasty unsocial behaviour, victimisation and rule-bending. After Graeme and his computer are stumped, Bill’s attempts at bribery fail, and Tim’s new advertising plan falls flat, the Goodies come up with an alternative plan: the police should just be nice to everyone. Tim, Bill and Graeme try out their new, hippy image for the force – only to take things a bit too far…
