'Frankenfido' by Tim Brooke-Taylor, Bill Oddie and Graeme Garden

Tim and Bill become concerned that Graeme's new dog breeding venture, ‘Garden Kennels’, has gotten out of hand when they learn he has been cross-breeding canines with other animals, including mice, lions, salmon, elephants – even a parrot! And when Graeme goes on to enter Cruft’s Dog Show with a bizarre selection of dogs crossed with an armchair, a lavatory and a cooker, his friends realise he has gone utterly loony. Deciding to teach him a lesson, Tim dresses Bill in a dog costume and enters him at Cruft’s as ‘Cuddly Scamp Hairy Legs’; not only does Bill win the competition, he also goes on to win ‘Mastermind of the Year’. Furious, Graeme vows to get his own back, stitching together all the best parts of many animals to make his own monstrous creation: ‘Frankenfido’…
