The Goodies

When Bill’s attempts to cook a nice healthy meal for Tim and Graeme fall flat, as no-one wants to eat brown salad and soil washed down with a drink of green plankton, the Goodies elect to dine out at the popular ‘Ye Olde Shepherds Restaurant’. However, the trio are disgusted to find that the ‘exclusive’ menu only lists food that has been coloured, preserved and tinned by Nobel Prize-winning chemists. Tim proposes a visit to his Uncle Tom’s farm for some fresh country food, but on arrival they discover that the place is run from a control room like the bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise, with experimental animals that give genetically-modified produce. After ten days of working on the farm without actually eating anything, Tim, Bill and Graeme go a bit loony; learning that Tom’s output is specifically tailored to meet the demands of his best customer, ‘Ye Olde Shepherds Restaurant’, the Goodies resolve to sabotage the establishment so that nice food can come back into fashion…
