The Goodies

Learning that Graeme has set up ‘Pets Corner’, a rest home for clapped-out animals, Tim and Bill are extremely proud – until they discover that every creature in their friend’s care is actually dead. It seems that Graeme has been keeping the deceased pets (all called Kenneth) on ice in a giant deep-freeze, just so he can con their owners into believing they are still alive and so give him lots of money for looking after them. Graeme soon receives a new pet, a pantomime horse, whose owners will only pay up when it is fully-trained and wins the Grand National. Naming the horse ‘Black and White Beauty’, Tim resolves to help Graeme train the creature to success. But then Bill goes loony and evil– he steals the horse for himself, beats it into submission, and then enters it in the race for himself…
