'Granny and Small' by Dave Ingham

Small looks for someone to play with, but Tiny is making music with the Singing Flowers, Major is busy inventing things, and Mother is counting her plant seeds. Told by Mother to spend some time with Granny, Small reluctantly helps tidy up her knitting cupboard, and is pleasantly surprised when they play a game with the wool. Small soon learns there is more to Granny than just knitting and sleeping, especially when she takes him on an adventure outside, to see her special wishing cave…
