Buffy

A victory party for Sunnydale High's swimming team sees everyone celebrating - except for Buffy, who is worried about what Angelus might do next. But when two members of the swim team go missing, Buffy and her friends become involved. Principal Snyder encourages Willow to work on raising the failing grades of Gage, another member of the swim team, and also offers her the chance to teach Ms Calendar's computer class for the rest of term. Giles believes that as two members of the team have already gone missing, Gage is likely to become the next target. While keeping Gage under surveillance Buffy saves him from an attack by Angelus; however, after tasting the boy’s blood, the vampire spits it out and then runs away, causing Buffy to surmise that the bad taste must be due to steroids. Now that a position has opened due to the missing swimmers, Xander joins the team, claiming it is easier to observe its members while being amongst them - although Cordelia just thinks he looks hot in his Speedos! Following a training session, Buffy hears a struggle in the locker room; she bursts in and sees Gage tearing his skin off, revealing a green, scaly monster underneath, which then flees into the sewers. Meanwhile, Xander is taking in the steam room when his fellow swimmers tell him that they are given steroids by the coach, which are in the steam that they are inhaling - meaning that he too has been exposed to the substance. Buffy corners the coach, who tells her that he is copying experiments involving fish DNA that the Russians carried out on their Olympic swimmers. He forces Buffy into the sewers, where the three transformed swimmers are lying in wait. She manages to hold them off, until Xander rescues her, after throwing the coach into the sewers where his 'boys' devour him. Xander and the rest of the swim team undergo plasma transfusions to reverse the effects of the steam, while the fish-men head for the ocean…
