'Angel and Faith': 'Daddy Issues' (Part 1) by Christos Gage

While patrolling Highgate cemetery, Angel becomes involved with a police murder scene. The incident reminds him of an event he read in Giles’ journals, when his late friend was a young boy training to become a Watcher: the mission ended in tragedy, causing Giles’ to vehemently object to his father’s plans for his future. Meanwhile, Faith learns of a new menace, a vampire nun calling herself the ‘Mother Superior’, who is stirring up trouble amongst the undead community. Angel and Faith set off to investigate, and are astonished to encounter an old friend…
