Blake's 7 Cast

Racked with guilt after leading Gan to his death, Blake takes Liberator to an uncharted planet and teleports down to the surface, in an attempt to spend some time alone to get his thoughts together. In his absence, Avon tries to coerce the rest of the crew into abandoning Blake, but they refuse, choosing to remain loyal. Meanwhile, at Federation Command headquarters, Travis is placed on trial for a massacre that he instigated; however, the real reason is so that Servalan can silence him before he can reveal her schemes to seize power to her superiors. On the planet, Blake encounters a strange, reptilian creature named Zil, who believes that he is an infant newly-‘hatched’ from the planet itself, and who wishes to protect him from an entity known as the Host. Aboard the Liberator, Avon is busy building a detector shield for the ship, when they realise that the planet below is beginning a process of violent upheaval. On the surface, Blake learns that it the world a living entity, and is cleansing itself of parasites - otherwise known as Zil’s people. Blake’s sense of justice refuses to let Zil die, but the creature sacrifices its life to save him from the turmoil. Just in time Blake is teleported back to the ship. Filled with a new sense of purpose, he decides to use Avon’s new device to attack Federation Command headquarters. Liberator avoids detection and opens fire, but the ensuing confusion inadvertently gives Travis the chance to escape...
